Hello! My name is Jodi W, I am 21 years old and a student at OCC. I have had a special place in my heart for those with special needs my entire life. In high school, I participated in leadership class which included doing activities and interacting with special needs students a few times a week - this is what called me to begin searching for a special needs caregiving job. Last summer I spent a few days a week with a sweet 16-year-old girl with Down syndrome, this included meal prep, engaging her in activities and games, and overall having fun while responsibly looking after her! I am looking to gain more experience working with those with special needs!
