With a Bachelor's of Science degree in the Major of Nursing, and learning through its rigorous clinical and academic practicum, I am certain that I thoroughly comprehend the intricacies of assisting care for any client with multiple disease processes. Moreover, in numerous life instances, I have worked wholeheartedly for people who are almost, if not entirely, dependent on care like that of a hospitalized patient. I devoted my time and undivided support for the health, development, and quality of life of my autistic sister and a man with Parkinson's Disease. With both nurturing my sister and the man with Parkinson's Disease, I have learned the importance in caring for an individual's health and quality of life, while attending to the simplest tasks of daily living. Furthermore, I have helped two clients who have physically debilitating illnesses and require special attention in their activities of daily living. For example, one client has newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis and I have educated her on her diet and aided her based on her limitations.
