Dear Family, I am a sweet caring reliable individual. I have 5 years of childcare experience. For a young male, I am surprisingly great with children, especially those with mental illness. Throughout my academic career, I have often found the most rewarding jobs in childcare. My first position as an after school coordinator showed me that I have a talent for helping children with reading, writing, and arithmetic. At a community center, I provided transportation to kids from school to the community center. I helped them with homework, engaged them in fun educational activities and facilitated a tutoring program between college undergrads and grade school children. I was promoted to summer camp coordinator and continue my career into childcare for at-risk youth. This was one of my most rewarding positions because I learned how to provide crisis intervention to children who were victims of physical abuse.
