I have an Intervention Specialist teaching license and have taught one year at the high school level, working with students with Autism and multiple disabilities. I have experience working with individuals who are non-verbal. I have worked with children of all ages from birth to high school and into adulthood. I spent the past six months teaching English in Thailand to general education students and the biggest lesson I learned is that working with children and adults with special needs is what I am supposed to be doing. I love the challenge and opportunity to assist in someone else's progress. Being a part of a child's growth and watching them make steps to success is the most rewarding experience.
