I have been a paraprofessional for Kalkaska Schools, working with children with special needs. One little girl was a severe diabetic with a pump. I would keep track of her blood sugar levels, counted carbs and set her pump for amount to be bolused. I also worked with children that were diagnosed with autism and anger issues. These children related to my calm attitude and worked well with me. My own son has add so I know how to work with kids struggling with this.
