I'm Rosa , I have worked as a Caregiver for the elderly and disabled. I took care of twins man in their 30's with cerebral palsy., I also took care of a handicapped man in a different occasion. I helped with transferring from bed to wheel chair and vice versa. I assisted with toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing and all aspects of personal care and hygiene. I helped with a range of motion exercises. I prepared meals and serve them. I would personally feed them if necessary. I performed light housekeeping and handed medications. In my experience with the elderly, I took care of them in similar ways and according to their needs or conditions., some had Alzheimer's or dementia. Others different illnesses. To be a 'great caregiver' it takes someone that is naturally caring, compassionate, kind, nurturing and loving, this makes this work enjoyable and rewarding. I enjoy taking care of those in need.
