Ever since I was young, I always took care of my cousin who has down syndrome. Later, as I grew up, I helped out students with special needs at school. I met in their classes almost every other day to complete different activities, help them with daily tasks, and just be there for them to have someone to talk to. I currently work with MNASR as an assistant and inclusion aid for toddlers, teens, and adults. We have several events such as bowling, swim lessons, special Olympics and other fun things. I am currently looking to study special education and I believe that this will help me become an amazing special education aid.
