I have worked as a special needs teacher's aide for 13 years between the ages of 8 and 13-year-olds for two local school districts. I have also been a respite and rehab provider for the last three years part-time. I enjoy the job and look forward to having more experience with other children. I taught daily living skills such as eating, spending money, time management, rules of behavior and personal hygiene. I also assisted students to complete tasks, stay focused and create a safe environment. I assisted with physical training programs (transfer & lifting). I have provided one on one or small group activities, and experiments with different approaches to increase physical, mental and emotional skills. I enjoy working with the children. It is my passion. I have a 7-year- old. Our hobbies are playing ball outside or taking walks, taking drives are also fun for us. He is my pride and joy.
