Loving Full-Time Nanny

Responds within a few days
I have the most experience with, and absolutely LOVE, infants (including newborns), and toddlers. My goal is for the children I'm with to feel loved, safe, and to fill their day with play-based learning, books, and fresh air. Besides taking care of the little ones, I am happy to tidy up, make meals, do laundry, go on outings, etc. I have been babysitting/nannying for 16 years. I graduated in 2017 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I taught 4th grade for a full school year, but do not plan on teaching in the near future. This makes me a master at homework help, and managing many things at once. In my free time, I love playing tennis, learning sign language, and doing almost anything outdoors. I have a background check available, as well as reviews here on my profile! I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit!

Stevie has been our nanny since November 2020- Unfortunately, we are now moving, but if we weren't, we'd want to keep her forever!!! Stevie is reliable, thoughtful, and trustworthy. As a first time mom, I was so very nervous about finding childcare for my 4 month old son, but upon meeting Stevie, I knew we'd found the perfect fit. I am an attorney and my husband is a college football coach, so our jobs are high stress where we need to be completely focused at work. Finding Stevie allowed me to go to work and focus on what I needed to do! She is truly a professional and has fantastic judgement when it comes to what your child needs. She has helped us create routine and seamlessly fits into our life and our home. She is always quick to see what needs to get done around the house and genuinely tries to make my life easier. I highly recommend Stevie, especially for families with young babies. She is incredible and we'll miss her so much! You and your babies will love Stevie!

I want to help build strong social, emotional needs of children, while also having fun! I'd like to build a trusting relationship through play, laughter and consistency. I believe with strong communication this can be achieved through secure parent partnerships. I have an extensive background of experience from newborn to preschool aged on up. I have cared for newborns up until toddler aged. As child grew, so did the intentional planning. Once on table food I began the process of preparing frozen organic food pods for the week, tummy time, musicology, Gymboree and lots of hand over hand play, always changing the routine to meet the age appropriate milestones through reading and play. I have been working with children in the school setting for 10 + years. Areas that I have worked in range from working with special needs children 3-5 yrs. from speech delays to social/emotional behaviors and medically fragile children, reading intervention specialist for low level readers.

Cheryl is extremely well qualified and quick to respond. Since we were looking for a caregiver that could watch our little one in their home, Cheryl offered to let me conduct her interview at her house. She was very gracious and respectful and used her mask throughout the interview. She described all of the precautions she takes related to COVID safety as well as general safety and routines. She had an impressive binder at the ready with copies of past family reviews, performance reviews from her work in schools, and various certifications. Although we didn't hire her for our upcoming needs, we wouldn't hesitate to hire her in the future. We would recommend her highly for any family looking for childcare.

Child Extraordinaire

Responds within a few days
Growing up, I had 2 younger brothers and very busy parents, so I often found myself as their caretaker. When I was old enough to get a job I worked as a Camp Counselor for summers with kids of all ages and needs. While Counseling, I worked with children who required a Montessori or aid where I learned their little tricks to keep them focused or involved in the camps activity. During my high school career, I participated in Cheer leading, where we hosted camps and clinics for young athletes in elementary and middle school. It was an amazing experience to watch these all these kids in Cheer Camps and Summer Camps explore and grow! Other than Camps, I've babysat for a few families. One family I worked for had 2 sets of twins, 6 and 4, I am more than comfortable working with more than one child or same age kids. I'm currently enrolled at GCU to earn a degree in Science and Nursing where I hope to work as a Pediatric Nurse. I am CPR Certified and First Aid Certified.

We were visiting and needed a babysitter to watch our 3 year old daughter while we worked remotely. As new parents we were very nervous leaving our daughter, but Ellise was a perfect match! She was kind and our daughter gravitated towards her right away. As you you can imagine there's not much "entertainment" you can pack while traveling and staying in a hotel room is never fun for a toddler. Ellise went above and beyond to meet our needs. She came with a backpack full of goodies! Ellise was ready to go swimming and had lots of art supplies. Our daughter loved playing with Ellise and she still asks about when her "big friend" can come back to play with her. Best of all, Ellise kept in constant communication with us. We were so happy with the experience we can't wait to return!
