I have 5+ years of caregiving experience and have worked extensively with individuals whom had special needs. I have worked with special needs cases primarily for a year and assisted with a variety of needs. I enjoy care-giving because I love to work with children and find ways to help them grow. I believe that children are reflections of their environment and therefore, we as adults must be role models. With my experience in special needs, I also understand that compassion, flexibility and willingness to problem solve along the way are vital skills to fostering a positive relationship. Professionally, I was a licensed home child care assistant for 1+ years. Following that, I was a FT nanny for about 2 years with 3 families and worked with other families occasionally through a nanny agency. Next, I worked FT for 1+ years with individuals on the ASD spectrum or whom had other special needs. Currently, I nanny and continue to work with children on the ASD spectrum.
