I spend the better part of my life in sales, never in a million years did I imagine myself in the health field. However that changed few years ago. I spend the last 3 years taking care of my ex boyfriend whom I love dearly. I dedicated my entire life in taking care of him full time. However after a long and tough journey I've decided to move on with my own life and to peruse my passion (Medical Assistant Degree). After taking care of him full time for the past 3 I've grown to enjoy taking care of someone. It is the most rewarding for me to know that I make a difference in someone's life. It is hard work, but I find it very fulfilling. I know with love and compassion I can be a great caregiver. My ex boyfriend suffers from Brain injury which left him with sever deficit. He is cortical blind, unable to move at all, he is wheel chair bound. And require assistant is all of his activity of daily living. The list goes on and on. through this I learned so much and have grown.
