About Wendy

Hello, my name is Wendy. I am currently an instructional support coach, however, I have over 20 years of experience in the 1st and 2nd grade classrooms tutoring. Although my experience is mostly in primary, I can also provide reading or writing services for grades 3rd-5th grade. I base my instruction on what the student needs to learn best. I am familiar with the common core standards and the rigor of teaching that is necessary for students to succeed. I have always had the philosophy that all students can learn we just need to find the way to reach them. I am familiar with many instructional strategies and I believe in providing feedback and feed forward to students so they know explicitly how to succeed and reach their end goals.
