I began in the field years ago both watching and aiding with the decline of my grandmother, who eventually transitioned into a facility for care. My professional work began in a Memory Care facility assisting those with Dementia and Alzheimer's disorder to perform their activities of daily living. Daily skills ranged from transitioning clients to their bathroom for bathing and toileting along with grooming care. I transferred and fed clients in the dining hall. I took clients into the community for activities and to their medical appointments. I then transitioned to aid those with spectrum disorder, aged from elementary to adulthood. Typically, I take clients into the community for daily needs such as shopping & entertainment, or integrating socially and emotionally, mentorship, etc. I have other experience not listed, so feel free to ask!
