I am currently a student in the University of Oregon Special education program. My hope is to be a teacher in a life skills classroom working with the more complex disabilities. I got my start in this field by working in a transition program. My main role there was to take students (age 18-22) into the community to teach them job skills and transportation safety. Then I worked in a middle school life skills classroom as well as an elementary life skills classroom. My main hope is to create an environment that is fun safe and educational for your child. I love learning and I want to pass on that love to the individuals I work with. I think that all people are capable of independence with the right kinds of supports.
