About Valerie

Hi! I am a positive, motivated, and organized caregiver. I recently graduated with my masters from FSU and moved back to Charlotte to work in the university area. I previously worked as a College Advisor in Charlotte helping students apply to college. I am the eldest of three girls in my family, and grew up providing additional care for my youngest sister (an 8 year age difference). I have 3 years of experience formally caring for children, from toddlers to teenagers, during my time in college. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and am currently learning Italian. Additionally, I have enjoyed tutoring for families in the past or providing additional help with homework. My experience and skills paired with my passion for fostering a safe and supportive environment for children make me well suited to care for your little ones.
