I was listed in the Nurse Aide Registry by the Ohio Department Of Health on 8/29/05. Since then I have worked in a variety of health care settings. Long term, short term and rehab, mental and one on one. Some were in a facility and others were in home settings. I have found that I enjoy more of a one on one setting because I can give them my full attention. Which is also why I would like to specialize with persons having ALS. I have 2 years experience with ALS in a home care environment and it gave me more than just experience it opened my eyes to see I could do more good for people than I thought. ALS has changed my life and I would like to help bring change to someone else.
