About Tonya

Hello! My name is Tonya and I was born and raised here in Boise. I began babysitting in middle school which transitioned into nanny positions during the summers and throughout high school. I continued to nanny full time while achieving my undergraduate degree. I went on to get my doctorate in Chicago. Following graduation I returned to Idaho where I chose to re-enter the childcare field. I have nearly 15 years of experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children. I have nannied for many newborns, the youngest being 3 days old. I am First Aid and CPR certified, up-to-date on all immunizations (including influenza, Tdap, Covid-19 and its applicable boosters), and was trained and received a certification in poison prevention.
