There are many things I am still figuring out about myself, even at the good old' age of 54, but there is one thing I have always known - I wanted to be a mom more than anything else. I am happiest when I am caring for others. At age 11, I started babysitting. While pursuing my associate's degree, I worked as a nanny caring for 3 three children (a set of 9-month-old twins & newborn). I was with this family for three years. While raising my two daughters ( who are now 27 & 31), I worked as a Mother's Day Out Director & Teacher for 6 years and Special Needs Paraprofessional with the Garland Independent School District for 3 years. Since then, I've become a certified yoga teacher with CPR training as well as a part-time photographer. Today, I am looking to spend more time doing what I first felt called to do helping families care for their children.
