Hi, I have always loved children and taking care of them. I am very nurturing, loving, and attentive. I have my CDA and CPR/ First Aid certificates, and my diploma in Montessori Teaching for infant, toddlers, and twos. I have worked with children from the ages of 6 weeks old to 11 years old for over 25 years now. Either as a nanny in the Dallas area, or different daycare/ Mothers Day Out facilities and Montessori schools in the Dallas and Richardson area. The things I love to do are listening to music to develop babies brain, reading books, tummy time to strengthen neck and arms, and snuggling to encourage love and comfort, taking walks, playing outside with the kids, teaching them to throw the ball and kick it around, playing on the swings, I love to color, and make art projects. Christy has been taking care of our boy now for a little over a year since he was 4 months old and we could not have gotten any luckier! She has been kind, attentive, and very patient with him and he loves spending time with her. Specifically, Christy was great with the transition from milk to solids. Our kid is very picky so she always tried to present him with different options and makes sure he eats enough. He is very active but she keeps up with him for several hours at a time. My husband and I also have busy work schedules and sometimes have to make changes last minute with which Christy has been very accommodating. She is never late and has never missed a work day without plenty of notice beforehand. We would not have gotten through this first year without her. Any family would be lucky to have Christy, I highly recommend.
