About Tara

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Tara and I'm a second year medical student and hopefully your future tutor. I have been tutoring as long as I can remember and started professionally tutoring 8 years ago. The majority of my students have been in middle and high school, but I've been so lucky to have worked with students as young as 6 months old to graduate students. I also have experience with students who are in homeschooling programs as well as students who have ADD/ADHD and anxiety. I'm a huge believer in personalized learning to maximize a student's strengths and best work on their weaknesses. From the first session, I like to get to know how a student best learns and form their lessons around them and refine as we continue to learn together. Additionally, all my tutoring students get priority on my schedule and discounted pricing on my SAT, GRE, and Testing Strategies bootcamps held over summer.
