I volunteered in a private nursing home called "Just Like Home" in Columbus, Ohio for two years. I was also a full time, live in nurse's aide for two disabled, diabetic twin sisters. I did all cleaning, running errands, make sure they got help with showers daily, took medicines daily, made sure the sores on their feet from being diabetic was cleaned and taken care of, all house work including laundry, and cooking was done. They went to every doctor appointment. I enjoy taking care of the elderly, children, even those with special needs. Any person (adult or child), I would take care of them like they were my own family and I would want them taken care of as if they were my family.
