About Tabitha

I'd describe my personality as playful, responsible, affectionate I like working with kids because they are curious, authentic, and eager to learn. I'm looking for a job that is consistent with open and clear communication of expectations. After being a teacher for four years, I am comfortable caring for more than one child at once. I am currently in school to become a therapist and would be willing to care for children with emotional or behavioral challenges. I started working with kids about six years ago as a nanny before I became a math teacher. I stopped teaching last spring. In my spare time, I like to do pilates, go on hikes in rock creek park, watch documentaries, read, and spend time with my husband, parents, and friends. One thing you should know about me is I love to learn and always try to have fun doing it! My skills include empathy, communication, and play.
