About Susan

I LOVE what I do and I treat my clients like family. I've excellent references. I'm skilled in using a Hoyer lift, transferring, bed baths, wound care, vitals, Etc. In 1993, I trained to become a Medical Assistant. I did my internship at University of Michigan Hospital. In 2011, I graduated from Trident Technical College and obtained an Associates in Human Services. In 2011, I attended a 6 week training course and received a certificate in Dementia/Alzheimer's/Parkinson's training; I've also taken care of clients who have these diseases. In 2022, I completed a Nursing Assistant program, and soon after passed the test for my certification. I try to engage my clients in every way possible such as playing cards, board games, doing puzzles, and even give a manicure if it will make my client smile.
