I have a Master's in Special Education with Specialization in Autism. I love to work with children with Special Needs because it is very rewarding when they master a new skill or achieve a goal for the first time. I worked as a teacher for children in self-contained autism classrooms for 6 years before resigning to start a tutoring business. I loved working with the children but the paper work required from the district did not allow me to do what I loved most: teach. I love to help children learn social, communication and life skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.
