About Stephanie

I never realized how much I enjoy caring for the elderly until late September 2014. This was when my grandmother had brain surgery and was told she would never walk or talk again. I quit my job and spent every day by her bed, doing everything I could think of to help her relearn everything. A year and a half later, I now find myself yelling at my best friend (my grandmother) to slow down because she will practically run to get where she is going! It's amazing to see how far she has come. I have experience in bathing/dressing, a reliable form of transportation, meal prep, and anything else that may be needed. I also am very creative at coming up with ideas to help remind someone about a task they need to do, or to learn a new way of doing something. I am also very patient. I just moved to California from Maryland, and I miss her so much. I am hoping to find someone else out there who could use a little extra help, because I know I would want someone to do the same for my mom.
