I started working as a teen in my mother's Assistant Living Facility she had in our home, and I loved it!! I learned firsthand that the most important part of taking care of the elderly is with love, respect & dignity. I have continued taking care of seniors through the years. As a retired senior myself , I would love to take some of the burden off you by helping you or your loved one with a caring, loving, respectful attitude.. I have over 10 years of experience in Alzheimer & Dementia care. I assist with activities and encourage all to be social and active . I handle bathing, dressing, medication, house cleaning, appoinments, shopping, meal prep, feeding and much more. I have many written References by request. I'm available Monday through Friday.. Hours are Flexible and will consider over nights during the week . I can start the 1st of September.

Cherie helped our family during my 87-year-old mother’s recovery from hip surgery and during her move and transition into an independent living community. For the first ~4 months of recovery, my mother lived with me and Cherie was one of the daytime caregivers who helped us while I worked remotely from home. Cherie assisted with all phases of personal care and took my mom to appointments and errands…and even walked and loved in my mother’s little dog! We greatly appreciate Cherie’s positive and caring spirit and will always consider her a dear friend ❤️
