My experience caring for those with special needs began when I was in college studying for my Bachelors. I worked in a group home setting, where I cared for children, youth, & adult residents. As the disability laws changed, so did my interest & I worked with adults with low to moderate support needs who lived independently in the community or with a parent/guardian. In addition to working with adults in this capacity, I worked with young children with special needs & their families in a community setting. I provided consultation in the developmental areas of gross motor, fine motor, activities of daily living, speech/language, social/emotional, & play. After working for a few years in these capacities, I decided to expand my knowledge/skills & went on to earn a Masters in Occupational Therapy. I worked as an early intervention OT for a number of years. Currently, I am a consultant for a not-for-profit agency in South Africa that supports children with disabilities & their community.

Stacy is wonderful to work with and be around! She helped move my furniture during my floor renovations, and she was careful with my items and worked very efficiently. She was extremely organized too when placing items around and back in its place. I couldn't have done it without her help in the two days I had her. She's just the best!
