I have an amazing 14-year-old nephew who is Autistic, this was one of the reasons why I have such a passion for helping individuals who have physical and mental disabilities, as well as their families.. I have now worked with adults and children with special needs for the last 10 years. I have experience working in a Day program type setting, as well as group home, and in home settings. I have experience with disabilities such as but not limited to Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Mental Retardation, as well as seizure disorders. I have learned the patience and care that is required to make sure every individual that I work with has the highest potential to achieve their goals whatever that may be!
