About Shayna

I'm a speech therapist with 7 years of experience facilitating high quality evidence based speech therapy services. I have worked in the home health setting where I developed and managed 12 communication goals for each client. I have received training in applied behavioral analysis and have collaborated with behavioral therapists. I have also worked with alternate forms of communication such as picture exchange communication systems (PECS), American Sign Language, and AAC devices. I specialize in: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Delays, Learning Disabilities. I'm patient, kind, and understanding. My goal in every interaction with a child to is to protect the dignity of that individual. I enjoy working in pediatrics as a profession because I enjoy the light that children bring to my life and the lessons they teach us in being present in the moment.
