About Taylor

I'd describe my personality as gentle and kind. I believe in authentic relating, honoring children's autonomy, and treating even the youngest littles with respect. At the same time, I work in Special Education and I am accustomed to and adept at managing behaviors. Working with children is all I've ever done - from babysitting my younger cousins as a teenager, to working as a summer camp counselor, to teaching English to schoolchildren in South Korea, to working as a speech therapist at an elementary school here in San Diego. I don't have any children yet myself, but I love kids and they love me! I am confident that I am able to win over just about any child I work with. I am firm with rules and boundaries but also love to tap into my inner child and find creative ways to have fun! I also have a knack for making activities educational.
