I cared for my mother in the last five years of her life. She had ALS and was bed-ridden, incontinent and had to be fed as well. I can make sure someone takes their medications on time. I am interested in being a companion to someone more than this kind of intensive care. I am a fun person to be with and would love to take your loved one shopping, to the movies, to their hairdresser, grocery shopping or anything else that might interest them. I love to play scrabble and card games too. It would be great to enrich someone's life!

I hired Sharon to assist my father after a broken hip and help my 80 year old mom with light housework and companionship. She worked for one weekend and sat a good portion of the time. When asked if she could vacuum, she said she didn't do that according to my mom. She did vacuum their bedroom though. She could be a good companion but I would make sure you specify the things you need to make sure she is able and willing to do them.
