About Shannon

I've been a caregiver for 18 years because I'm deeply passionate about fostering children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives. I'm patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I'm experienced caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I can handle up to four children at once. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, travel, and swimming supervision. I'm also trying to First Aid and CPR trained again. I believe open communication with parents is essential, so I provide regular updates on their child's day, verbally at pickup, via text or phone call, whichever the parents prefer. I love playing all sorts of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games and educational games. I have some college education and have a car. I'm also comfortable with pets.
