Caring And Creative Childcare

Avg response < 23 hrs
Hello there! My name is Mae, I'm originally from New Hampshire, but I just recently moved to Ohio with my partner. I'm a recent graduate and majored in Psychology and minored in Educational Studies. I started working as a mother's helper and moved up to regular and one-off babysitting jobs. I've also done overnight babysitting and have held a couple of short-term nannying positions. The kids I've looked after have ranged in age from 6 months to 14 years old. I have also worked as a Camp Counselor/Environmental Education Director at a summer camp in New Hampshire for the past seven years. Most recently, this past year I worked as a classroom aide in a school for children with behavioral and psychiatric needs. I am First Aid, CPR/AED, and Lifeguard certified. Credentials aside, in my free time I enjoy cooking/baking, reading, playing the ukulele, singing, being involved in theatre, and traveling. Shoot me a message with any questions you have; I can't wait to connect!

Mae cared for my kids & family during a gap year after she graduated high school and before she took some time to travel the world and then headed off to high school. She is very other centered and a natural care giver. Her family is also in the giving/service fields (Teacher & Midwife) so it is apparent she had inherited and absorbed those traits naturally. Her years as a camp counselor have also served her well providing enriching and engaging activities for the kids. I trusted her implicitly with my children and would recommend her highly for any family!
