I'd describe my personality as social, caring and patient :) I find tutoring rewarding because I get to help students conquer tough subjects, just like I did! It's like solving puzzles together and seeing that "aha!" moment light up in their faces. It's fun, rewarding and I get to be the guide I wish I had when I was studying! I'm all about striking a balance! During the day i'm a sustainability consultant but during the evenings i'm looking to spark curiosity and help students thrive as a tutor - plus I love babysitting and keeping kiddos entertained! I started tutoring as a teenager. Helping my little cousins out with their homework and school projects. It's always been a fun way to bond with my family while also sharing knowledge and seeing them succeed! In my spare time, I love volunteering at the Houston SPCA, where I get to spend some time with adorable furry friends! My skills include: 1. Clear explanation 2. Problem solving strategies 3.
