Hello, My name is Yvonne B and I have been an educator for over 24 years. I have taught in both private and public as well as urban and suburban schools. I am a certified teacher specializing in early childhood education. I have my masters degree in curriculum and instruction so I will provide the perfect learning plan for your child, tailored to their learning style. I am also a child's party event planner so when babysitting I entertain children with my party skills/activities so they are not just sitting around playing video games or watching tv. I am very reliable, caring, responsible and creative. I look forward to working with you and your child!

Yvonne was an amazing teacher at a Preschool for the 2 years that she worked for me. She worked well with the children and was entertaining, dependable and a great team player. She has wonderful strengths: Ability to relate to children and adults in a positive and respectful manner. Exception patience and people skills for the day to day interactions with children, staff and parents (never complained) She implemented the child development daily curriculum She is very professional and always on time She participates in all the required workshops/ teacher development conferences One of her greatest strengths that I value highly as a director is that she was friendly, loving and caring to everyone. I highly recommend Yvonne.

Tutoring Available In Math/Statistics/English/Test Prep From A NASA Statistician

I work full-time as a statistician for NASA and am eager to engage you/your son/your daughter in the exciting world of math! Cheesy? Yes. But I do believe people shouldn't fear math the way they fear a root canal. With a master's degree in statistics and many years of tutoring experience at all levels -- from elementary school to working professionals, you'll be confident I have the expertise to help you/your child succeed. I also bring a side of comedy and a personality that will keep you engaged. I often hear people complain that math/stats is too difficult or tell me I'm lucky I'm naturally good at math. No matter how smart you are, math requires dedication and patience. Maybe I'm old school, but in a world of instant gratification, I still believe practice makes perfect; there are no shortcuts. But it CAN be fun, and real world examples make lessons feel relevant. I also help with test prep, study skills, and general studies. I charge $70 per hour plus a variable travel fee.

Shari was God-sent for our freshman at a very difficult time in her life. Not only did Shari take up all academic subjects that our child needed help with, she went above and beyond in not being not a tutor, but a patient listening ear, an older wiser friend who related effortlessly with the stuff that goes on in high school. Shari helped her get organized , taught her skills in note taking, in approaching tough subjects fearlessly, in panicking effectively! We would heartily recommend Shari to any other parent, she is one of the most passionate and hard-working tutors out there.
