Hey there! My name is Sarah. I have recently graduated high school and am available for tutoring or giving swim lessons throughout the summer before heading to college. In high school, I took 8 honors and AP classes in a range of subjects. I would consider myself most proficient in English/Social Studies. I am patient, attentive, and good with kids. I have had experience tutoring a child with special needs (Down's Syndrome) in the past. I have also been a swimmer for 10 years, including 4 on my high school's varsity swim team and 8 on the Rose Bowl Aquatics swim team. I have worked with kids on swimming before and feel I would be a great help as an instructor! Feel free to contact me if interested in either service.

Sarah worked with our daughter, Sarah who has Down Syndrome. Our daughter loves being with Sarah. Sarah volunteered weekly for almost 2 years to work with our daughter to help her read, write, speak and have appropriate social skills. Sarah is a patient teacher, full of enthusiasm, easily wins the trust of those with whom she is working, Sarah used creativity and was great at thinking "out of the box" when coming up with teaching ideas that would most effectively work with our daughter's unique needs. Sarah loves children and they love her. My other children were always excited when Sarah was visiting and they would sometimes interrupt and want to "join in the fun" with Sarah. It is my opinion that Sarah would be a great asset to any child care provider team!
