I have been a home health aide for the elderly for over 13 years. Besides being a home health aide, I was a CNA at a nursing home for a number of years. I have helped provide personal care to my patients including but not limited to bathing, dressing, skin care, and preparation of meals. I make sure my patients take their required medication at the appropriate time and monitor their vital signs. I also keep careful notes of my patients progress, condition, and care throughout the day and night. This also helps the next health aide/CNA be aware of what the patient will be needing. I drive and accompany my patient to and from their doctor as well as other appointments they may have. When motion exercises are required for my patients, not only do I oversee, but I also help perform these range of motion exercises if they are unable to do so themselves. I understand I provide companionship for my patient so I help my patients navigate around the house and even take them outside for fresh
