About Ruth

Hello everyone! I'm a newly retired early elementary teacher from Region#16 here in Ct. I taught in public school for over 30 years and private school for 2 years. I worked in and directed Day Care centers in New Haven in the past. I'm an energetic, fun teacher that gets joy every day by seeing young children learn and grow. Teaching reading is special love of mine. After school in my classroom and in the town library, I tutored children in grades K-3 in reading and math. I was Region#16's Teacher of the Year and was humbled and proud to receive that honor. I live in Middletown and don't mind commuting a short distance.
