About Ruth

I am a recent college graduate, perusing a career in elementary education. I will be seeking an additional year of education to obtain a masters degree. I have worked in Portland, Glastonbury, and Manchester schools. I love working with students age 5-12, although I work well with children older and younger than that range. I am confident in my ability to teach multiple subjects, including but not limited to, math, reading, writing, science, social studies, and social emotional learning. I am open to talking about an hourly wage but I usually charge anywhere from $25-50 an hour depending on the subject(s)/student(s). I try my best to make learning fun! For me, learning is all about growth. Mistakes are steps we take along the way that help us learn and become better versions of ourselves.
