Compassionate special educator certified in the state of Arizona with over 19 years of experience in the field of education. I am experienced in crafting individualized learning plans and recommendations to ensure optimal growth for students with diverse strengths and needs by evaluating skills and analyzing data. I develop data-driven insights to inform decision-making on learning goals and instructional strategies by designing and administering individualized assessments. I create weekly lesson plans to include varied learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of the students I work with. I believe in the growth mindset, neuroscience, and the importance of building relationships with families and students in order to most effectively teach.

I have had the pleasure of working with Rachel while providing speech and language therapy in her preschool classroom for 2 years at the Cartwright School District in Phoenix. During that time, she worked with students who presented with a variety of communication, cognitive, physical, and medical needs. Rachel possesses the keen ability to meet the needs of all children in her care in a highly professional, compassionate, optimistic, and proactive manner. She is always reliable and well prepared, and would be an asset to any organization or work environment.
