I have assisted in teaching a special needs dance class, and from that, babysat and tutored a few of the students. I have also worked at an autistic summer camp. I worked at a Children's Museum and at an after-school program in Trenton. My approach to working with children and teens with special needs is to focus on what they can do and what they are good at and enjoy, and gently working on areas that need improvement. I do extremely well with children with behavioral problems. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to keep children engaged in activity.
