I have worked 1:1 with individuals with various disabilities and ages. I have experience with individuals with autism, seizures, feeding tubes and dysphagia, wheelchairs, walkers, aggressive and self-injurious behaviors. I enjoy and prefer to work one on one with individuals and love getting to know them and being able to assist them. Unfortunately I have had to take management positions in order to pay the bills but find myself extremely unhappy when not engaging with the individuals in my care. I would like to return to caring for children and adults while I go back to school. I am currently CPR and First Aid Certified until January 2017 as well and a special Olympics volunteer since 2014, with two gold medals myself for the unified leagues.
