About Olivia

I am currently a third grade teacher in Fairfield California. I have over 25 years experience working with children in many different settings. I have been an afterschool program teacher, I've worked with students with disabilities at the Blind Children's Center, a paraprofessional in moderate, severe autistic classes, tutored students including ones that have disabilities, and was a substitute teacher in 4 different school districts. I have been a fifth and third grade classroom teacher for the past seven years. I also have extensive experience in babysitting. I have a bachelors degree in child development, and adolescence. I like tutoring because the one on one experience is advantageous and valuable for the student. There is a lot of nuance when it comes to teaching children and I am an expert in differentiation and meeting students at their level. My skills include phonics, comprehensive, reading instruction, essay writing for K - 12 and math K-6. Kid Art is a passion of mine.
