About Monica

I worked as an expository/creative writing tutor at the Stanford University for Writing and Speaking for 3 years tutoring undergraduate and graduate students. I served as a teaching assistant at Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies for middle and high school students, teaching writing workshops for a summer. I have also worked as a test prep/college essay tutor for Bay Area youth through Campanile College Admissions Counseling. I've worked individually with elementary age (5-6 yrs old) ESL and native English speakers in reading comprehension. Most recently, I served as a teaching assistant to an individual family's kindergarten student during COVID to assist with remote learning.
