I have worked with 5 children on the Autism Spectrum and I continue to do so on a part time basis. I love working with children with special needs because it makes me slow down and really get in tune with what the child is trying to communicate. This is typically non-verbal, but being able to tune into those cues makes it that much rewarding when learning the new language of non-verbal communication.

Mila helped out with my two kids and a little bit with my elderly mom on a variety of tasks from household Mgmt to cooking to transportation to hiking adventures but I want to focus primarily on her caring, dedication and thoroughness while hands-on tutoring our 11-12yo son who has ADHD/ focus/emotional issues, all day every day while he schooled remotely during Covid. Mila has been amazing in these ways: She was with him from morning until completion of his homework in the evening She methodically managed his time, making sure he attended all of his classes, delivered all his assignments, learned in the process, etc. She was very much in tune with his mood and when he needed stress relief, outdoors time, and overall fun to balance his day! She sync-ed with the parent in charge (divorce) at the end of each night so that we always knew where he left off. She connected with him on a deep level because you can tell she emotionally invests and built a ton of trust
