About Mikayla

Hi! My name is Mikayla, I am 25 years old. I am very passionate about caring for and teaching young children. For the past 8 years, I have gained a ton of experience with children through babysitting, nannying, and teaching. I have worked in a few different childcare centers in which I worked with ages 6 weeks to 12 years. I have led my own classrooms, implemented caregiving routines, tracked milestones and so much more. I have also had the oppurtunity to become a regular, reliable babysitter and nanny for multiple families through the years. I have a certificate in American Sign Language. I am CPR and First Aid qualified. I have certification in SIDS and Safe Sleep among many other trainings and certifications. I am also a full-time student in the Early Childhood Education program pursuing my Bachelors to become a Developmental Therapist.
