Hi there! I am looking for the perfect family to nanny for in the Augusta area! I am locating here from Illinois, where I had the privilege of becoming incredibly close with an amazing/caring family of 5. Over the past 2 years, I formed close bonds with the kids as well as the parents. I am a Certified Doula and am continuing to further my knowledge/training in this path too. I have well over 10+ years in childcare, including being a director, teacher, nanny, years working with children with autism and other learning disabilities, and worked closely with low income families. I interned at the Children's Discovery Museum back in Normal Illinois, which was a blast! I love to help with homework, crafts, house work, cleaning, or just taking them to the park to play. Bachelors in Human Development, CPR/First Aid certified, not a smoker, and have my own transportation. I love kids and have great experience from newborns to teenagers! Rebecca came into our life when things were all up in the air for us. It’s always nerve wracking meeting someone to take care of your babies, especially when you are used to a different routine. She hit it off with our oldest right away and our youngest was still only a few months old so I hired her right away. We’ve kept Rebecca in our lives for 2 years now, even through us moving cities. We had an opportunity to bring Rebecca with us on our move for the first few months and we took it. We will still fly her out occasionally if my husband and I want to take a quick couples trip or go to an event with friends because we trust and love her. We are sad she and her husband are moving further away, but know that wherever she lands she is an amazing dedicated caretaker!
