About Michelle

I like working with children and families because I enjoy being a part of their growth and development and to see the world through children's eyes. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and enjoyable and utilizes my skills as a caregiver. I started working with kids when I was 15. I worked as an assistant in my neighbor's home childcare center. I have also worked in childcare centers, babysat nieces and nephews, and friend's children. I have 21 years of experience working with children including caring for my own. I have been a Respiratory Therapist in the hospital setting for the past 9 years. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my children and husband and I enjoy anything outdoors. My daughters are 5 and 7. I used to be in band during high school and continue to play a little music here and there. I find it to be a relaxing hobby. I play some piano, flute, and now learning the violin with my 7-year-old who recently expressed interest in learning.
