Entertainer, Teacher, & Your Child's New Favorite Sitter!

(1)
I'm very laid back with lots of patience and the energy to keep your kids active, entertained, and learning! I have two younger siblings and more cousins than I can count! I've been helping watch after children since I was a child, and was babysitting two sets of siblings weekly by high school. In high school, I taught children's bible classes ages 2-10 through my mom's church. I'm an artist, a reader, and I love the outdoors! I've always gotten along really well with kids because I believe it's so important to treat them as whole humans who have feelings, needs, & wishes, and to never talk down to them! I'm looking for a family with 1-2 children (pets are a plus!) who need a sitter around 15-20 hours a week.

Sara has been fantastic with my two kids (5 yr & 3 months). I am working from home these days but it has been HUGE having Sara a few times a week. I get so much done with ZERO interruptions when she is here. My 5 year old is always disappointed when she leaves. And Sara has been wonderful with my infant as well - proactively putting him down for naps, feeding him and keeping him engaged while he's up. When there's a moment of down time, Sara is always looking to be helpful and finding something else to do whether it be cleaning something up or organizing. We hope to continue with Sara for as long as we can!
