I have experience caring for newborns and toddlers including multiples, along with tutoring school aged children. My most recent free-lance positions as a nanny over the last seven years include four families with infants up to school aged children. Prior to that I worked as a kindergarten instructional assistant for 12 years. I am an energetic, personable, patient and caring mother of four grown children who always respects and can easily adapt to and appreciate the lifestyles and routines of different families. My favorite thing about being a nanny is having the privilege to witness a child grow and learn new things! I have the ability to shape small minds and establish lifelong habits. I also help the parents by providing a necessary service that allows them to focus on their jobs and other duties, comforted that their child is safe and happy at home.

Michelle has been a huge part of our family over the past 3 years. Her experience as both a mother and a teacher give her the skills needed to provide structure and discipline but also the ability to cater to the individual emotional needs of the kids. She is extremely interactive with the kids and constantly going on adventures and creating lasting memories; whether it be going on hikes, riding bikes, taking them fishing, or just playing board games. She is constantly looking for more to do above and beyond her job responsibilities which, having gone through several caretakers before Michelle, is rare. While we are thrilled that she is able to pursue one of her dreams, we are going to miss her and if we were ever lucky enough to have the chance to rehire her, we would do so in a heartbeat.
